Adrian Kunkel

After concerning himself with such exciting instruments like the recorder in his childhood, which he spent in Reutlingen situated in the south-west of Germany, Adrian soon lost interest in music for the time being. At the age of 15, he found out more or less by chance that the drumset might  be just the perfect instrument for him. And, from that moment on, drums were going to determine the course of his further life.
In order to finance his basic equipment, he started imparting his recently acquired knowledge to musicians younger than himself when he was only 16 years old.

At the age of 21, he finished his pedagogical training and devoted himself exclusively to his career as a musician. Simultaneously, he studied at the drum department with Daniel Messina and Stefan Schuetz, but also with Andy Schoy.
After enhancing his already excisting knowledge at the Drummers´ Institute in Düsseldorf and he studied with Dirk Erchinger in Berlin.

He has already played with various bands performing in different genres from songwriter pop music to metal core, punk and hiphop.

Currently, Adrian works as a drum teacher in Tübingen and the surrounding area as well as in Berlin.
He is touring with Electric Love, Chid and Jazzdog and the Garden Girls.
